Resurrection and Judgment

“When the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into ever- lasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”(Matt. 25:31-34, 41, 46)  “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it,         from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God, and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”(Rev. 20:11-15)  “Then shall they call upon me, – but I will not answer; they shall seek me early but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord: they would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the waywardness of the simple shall slay them, and the complacency of fools shall destroy them. But whoso harkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” (Prov. 1:28-33)  “But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night for when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them.” (I Thess. 5:1-3) These are but some of the verses on the resurrection and judgement of mankind, and there are others. But even if there were only these, and we say we believe what Scripture says, shouldn’t we also be living like we believe them? This is what God says, what do you say?
